Sr Financial Analyst, Commercial

Job Description

LA28 is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support its financial operations. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in planning, forecasting, monthly close, and stakeholder reporting. This role involves maintaining financial models, conducting scenario analyses, and analyzing budget-to-actual performance.

Responsibilities:

• Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
• Work with the Commercial team to understand sponsorship and licensing agreements.
• Close commercial business books monthly, including posting accruals.
• Support the licensee royalty reporting process.
• Support Marketing forecasting and project modeling.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting.
• Minimum of 2+ years of professional FP&A experience.
• Hands-on experience with creating complex financial models.
• Strong analytical skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Experience with large scale ERP systems; Workday a plus.
• Familiarity with basic accounting concepts.
• Expert-level Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
• MBA a plus.
