Principal/ Sr Principal Backend Engineer

Job Description

Endor Labs is seeking a Principal/Sr Principal Backend Engineer to play a pivotal role in architecting and building the core backend infrastructure for their SaaS products. The engineer will lead and contribute to large-scale technical projects, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of company's systems. The ideal candidate will design, architect, and build features end-to-end, working closely with Product Management and the distributed Engineering team.

What this role involves:

• Architecting and building the core backend infrastructure for SaaS products.
• Leading and contributing to large-scale technical projects.
• Designing APIs and working with frameworks like gRPC, ReST, GraphQL, or Thrift.
• Driving innovation and making critical architectural decisions.
• Mentoring and coaching team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 18+ years of experience building scalable backends.
• Proficiency in Golang is strongly preferred.
• Experience with microservices and distributed architecture.
• Practical experience in designing APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Knowledge of data structures and scalable architectures.
• Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems.
