Associate Maintenance Technician

Job Description

ATS, founded in 1985, is a company with a presence in the United States, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. They specialize in industrial maintenance, ensuring factories operate efficiently. They are seeking an Associate Maintenance Technician for their North Kansas City, Missouri location.This role involves performing entry-level break-fix and preventative maintenance, including adjusting functional parts, repairing or replacing defective parts, and repairing machine tools. The technician will support other team members, maintain 5S and housekeeping standards, update records in CMMS, and contribute to continuous improvement activities. Safety compliance is paramount.Responsibilities:

• Performs entry level break-fix & preventative maintenance.
• Provides support and backup for other members of the department as needed by leadership.
• Assures compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Completes on-the-job training for career development.
• Updates records in CMMS.
• Provides inputs in CI activities - processes, results, and cost savings.
• Follows all safety-related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions, and guidelines.

Requirements:

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Must be able to use basic hand tools.
• Knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems.
