DevOps Engineer II

Job Description

Ping Identity is seeking a DevOps Engineer II to maintain their cloud-based services. The DevOps Engineer II will take ownership of operational maintenance, manage customer environments, fulfill service requests, onboard new customers, and upgrade existing environments. Ping Identity follows a DevOps model, integrating development and operations teams for continuous deployments.

• Manage customer environments and ensure their uptime, performance, and security.
• Fulfill service requests related to customer environments.
• Onboard new customers by setting up their environments.
• Upgrade and audit existing customer environments.
• Monitor the environment for issues and work with the support organization to troubleshoot.
• Collaborate with the development team to deploy new releases to customer environments.
• Document all procedures and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with Cloud Platforms including AWS or GCP
• 2+ years experience with containerization technologies, including Docker
• 1+ years experience with orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting automated service deployments
• Basic understanding of best practices for deployment automation
• Experience using Git in a team environment
