Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Job Description

Flo, a leading female health app, is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join its Velocity team. This role focuses on building secure systems that empower product engineers to ship efficiently without compromising security. The Senior Cloud Security Engineer will contribute to automating processes, simplifying tooling, and embedding security standards within the infrastructure.Responsibilities:

• Build distributed systems for real-time health interactions.
• Develop privacy-first features.
• Create self-service tools for team efficiency.
• Maintain a scalable, secure stack.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Security.
• Security knowledge in Cloud Infrastructure Security.
• Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Technical, Operational, and Managing Controls within AWS.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, specifically Terraform.
• Experience in building Secure Software Development Lifecycle phases (DevSecOps).
• Understanding Identity Management principles: SSO, OAuth, JWT, SAML.
• Experience with writing scripts for automation (Python, Bash, or other languages).
