Embroidery Operator

Job Description

Jonsson Workwear is seeking a detail-oriented Embroidery Operator for their Durbanville depot in South Africa. The Embroidery Operator will be responsible for accurately embroidering stock items, meeting customer requirements, and ensuring excellent customer service. The role involves:

• Analyzing project specifications and customer needs.
• Delivering high-quality embroidery with attention to detail.
• Setting up and running the embroidery machine efficiently.
• Framing garments accurately.
• Maintaining the embroidery machine.
• Building customer relationships.
• Ensuring products are well-stocked and merchandised.
• Preparing customer quotations.
• Following up on orders and quotations.
• Processing customer payments.
• Working weekends when required.

Requirements include:

• Preferably 2 years’ experience as an Embroidery operator or machinist
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), preferably also Syspro
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Great time-management skills
