Data Engineer

Job Description

Domo Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain scalable data pipelines supporting financial analytics solutions and AI-driven insights. The Data Engineer will collaborate with data scientists, BI analysts, engineers, and sales teams to architect data workflows that transform complex financial data into actionable business intelligence. This role is required to be in office 5 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Ingest, process, and model large financial datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
• Implement data validation and quality assurance frameworks.
• Work with cloud-native technologies and big data tools.
• Improve data platform reliability, security, and efficiency.
• Document data practices and workflows.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Proficient in Python programming.
• Strong understanding of financial analytics concepts.
• Experience in SQL and relevant database technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
