Operational Excellence & Automation Manager

Job Description

BVNK is seeking an Operational Excellence & Automation Manager to drive automation, scalability, and efficiency across its Treasury & Payment Operations teams. This role is crucial for someone who excels at the intersection of technology and operations, automating workflows and reducing dependency on Engineering. The ideal candidate will report to the VP of Operations, Sarah Down, and will be a hybrid thinker, combining operations strategy, automation expertise, and data analysis.Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing automated workflows using tools like n8n, Cursor, or internal workflow engines.
• Writing scripts and lightweight backend logic to automate repetitive manual tasks.
• Analyzing end-to-end operational processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
• Designing and implementing scalable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and KPI frameworks.
• Building and maintaining dashboards for real-time visibility into key metrics.
• Partnering with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Customer Success teams.

Requirements include:

• 2–4 years of experience in operations, automation, or data analytics roles, preferably in fintech or payments.
• Strong technical skills in workflow automation tools, scripting, and REST APIs.
• Strong SQL and dashboarding/reporting skills; experience with tools like QuickSight.
• Experience working with payment and treasury systems.
• Proven ability to deliver cross-functional projects that scale operations and reduce cost.
