Ava Labs is seeking a Payments Lead to spearhead the adoption of blockchain-based payments through the Avalanche network. This role involves strategic leadership and hands-on execution, focusing on launching and scaling applications like remittances, merchant settlements, and B2B transfers. The Payments Lead will collaborate with PSPs, stablecoin issuers, Web3 wallets, fintechs, and global institutions to expand Avalanche's payment ecosystem.Ava Labs is redefining how people create value with Web3, offering a platform for digitizing assets on an open, programmable blockchain.What this role involves:

• Owning the end-to-end payments strategy.
• Leading strategic integrations with partners.
• Launching live payment use cases.
• Scaling payment flows and driving adoption.
• Expanding into new verticals like embedded finance.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Blockchain Infrastructure teams.
• Creating a repeatable engagement model for partners.
• Positioning Avalanche in the global payments dialogue.

What candidate should bring:

• 7+ years in payments, fintech, or Web3.
• Deep understanding of the payments stack.
• Proven success in launching integrations.
• Strong network in fintech, crypto, and traditional payments.
• Excellent communication skills.
