Job Description

Notion is seeking a Head of Safety & Physical Security to manage the organization's physical security initiatives. This role involves developing and implementing access and perimeter control procedures, overseeing the travel security program, managing incident response and security operation centers, and conducting site walk-throughs for new offices and expansions. The Head of Safety & Physical Security will collaborate with Notion’s cybersecurity team to leverage threat intelligence and ensure the safety of Notion and its employees.Role involves:

• Managing physical security operations
• Developing and implementing access and perimeter control procedures
• Overseeing the travel security program
• Managing incident response and security operation centers
• Conducting site walk-throughs for new offices and expansions
• Collaborating with the cybersecurity team

Requirements:

• Experience managing physical systems
• Experience supervising/leading teams and/or projects
• Ability to build and lead the organization's physical security and health & safety functions
• Ability to develop employees within the GSS team
• Ability to create long-term vision and strategy for the GSS team
• Ability to advise senior leadership of risks to people, assets, and the enterprise
