Artist & Label Development Manager - AWAL

Job Description

AWAL, as part of Sony Music, is seeking an Artist & Label Development Manager to join their team in Amsterdam. This role involves being the primary point of contact for AWAL services, supporting and developing Dutch musical talent. The candidate will work closely with the LASER team, a sub-label of Sony Music, in the One Studios in Amsterdam.

Role Involves:

• Maintaining relationships with artists and labels in the Netherlands.
• Providing strategic marketing support to priority artists.
• Talent scouting in collaboration with Sony Music and LASER A&R teams.
• Playing a key role in contract negotiations and financial analysis.
• Onboarding Dutch artists into the AWAL ecosystem.
• Collaborating with the international AWAL team in London.
• Supporting Dutch artists in expanding their reach beyond the Benelux.

Requirements:

• Excellent command of Dutch and English.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Structured working method with attention to deadlines and budgets.
• Passion for developing artists and a keen eye for new opportunities.
• Good network within the Dutch music industry.
• Creativity, drive, and strong relationship-building skills.
• Strategic thinking and understanding of artist positioning in a changing market.
