Site Reliability Engineer, Devops

Job Description

Pismo is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps to join their DevOps Squad. This squad is responsible for developing and managing the tooling used by Pismo's squads to release changes. The engineer will manage CICD pipelines, develop tooling for releasing database, infrastructure, and application changes, and contribute to the next generation of CICD processes.

The role involves:

• Managing and monitoring CICD pipelines.
• Developing tooling and patterns for releasing changes.
• Contributing to the next generation of CICD processes.
• Working with engineering teams to adopt new processes.
• Improving the reliability of change management.
• Promoting a culture of release early, release often.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.
• Familiarity with IDEs like Eclipse, IdeaJ, or VS Code.
• Experience with languages such as Python, Golang, Java, or Javascript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Git flows, GitOps, and Monorepos.
• Experience designing distributed systems.
