Full Stack Software Engineer - Special Projects

Perplexity is seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to join their Special Projects team, which focuses on building innovative 0-1 products that redefine the future of search. The company has experienced significant growth since launching its conversational answer engine and is backed by prominent technology investors. The Full Stack Engineer will have extreme ownership in delivering new consumer experiences and transforming how people search the web and find answers.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality customer experiences
• Building new 0-1 products with high scale
• Collaborating with Special Projects, AI, and Data teams
• Launching new features, experiments, campaigns, and partnerships
• Analyzing performance metrics and user feedback
• Building user journeys for diverse consumer demographics

Requirements:

• Experience with Python, Docker, Kubernetes, NextJS, and React
• Familiarity with building with developer APIs
• Self-motivation and willingness to take ownership
• Good quantitative understanding of data and experimentation
• Experience running A/B tests
• Passion for shipping quality products
• 3+ years of industry experience (ideal)
• Experience founding and scaling a startup (ideal)
