Senior Design Program Manager

Job Description

Discord is seeking a Senior Design Program Manager to empower its product teams to conduct effective self-service research. This is a temporary, US-based position.

Discord aims to enhance the gaming experience by making it easier for people to connect and hang out before, during, and after playing games.

The Role Involves:

• Designing self-serve research systems and processes.
• Managing partnerships with external UXR platforms.
• Creating and maintaining documentation and training materials.
• Enabling product team members to conduct high-quality self-service research.
• Developing and implementing a program for democratizing user research.
• Tracking usage metrics and gathering feedback.
• Establishing quality standards for self-service research.
• Facilitating knowledge sharing across teams.
• Staying current on UX research tools and methodologies.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in program management, research operations, or a related field.
• Experience with various tools like survey platforms and knowledge management systems.
• Strong documentation and process development skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with product design teams (preferred).
• Basic understanding of UX research methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
