Job Description
Appian is seeking an Associate Solution Engineer to provide technical expertise to customers globally. The role involves tackling challenging technical problems, communicating solutions effectively, and being a resident expert on the Appian platform.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer interaction (verbal/written).
- Solve complex technical problems and identify creative solutions.
- Work closely with customers to improve platform availability, performance, functionality, and security.
- Show interest in data analytics.
- Provide after-business-hours support on a rotational basis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or similar.
- History of academic success (Distinction average required, i.e. WAM 75+).
Nice-to-Have Experiences:
- Programming / scripting (e.g. Java, Perl, Ruby, C#, PHP).
- RDBMS platforms (e.g. MySql, Oracle, SQL Server).
- Systems administration (e.g. Linux, Windows).
