Job Description
Appian is seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Analyst to join its Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role involves reviewing and processing customer contracts, producing financial and operational reports, and calculating key metrics. The Contracts Analyst will collaborate with various teams, including Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Accounting. Role Involves:
- Gathering, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets related to sales and customer metrics.
- Reviewing customer software license agreements and consulting agreements for key financial information.
- Classifying contract attributes and calculating software license contract values.
- Building financial models to calculate annual contract values and total contract values.
- Handling ad hoc requests from the leadership team.
Requirements:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of general accounting, contract analysis, or financial related experience.
- Advanced Excel skills, including creating pivot tables and the ability to write formulas for lookups and other functions.
- Attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
