Director - Data Operations

Job Description

Addepar is seeking a Director of Data Operations to lead the Portfolio Data Operations team. This role is based in Addepar’s Edinburgh, UK office. The Director will be responsible for ensuring Addepar's clients have timely and high-quality data.

The Director will drive strategic operations initiatives, identify opportunities for scaling through automation, and champion the transformation of the Data Operations function.

What this role involves:

• Developing and executing a strategic roadmap for portfolio data operations.
• Overseeing operational workflows for portfolio and aggregator data feeds.
• Implementing KPI tracking and metrics to measure operational effectiveness.
• Collaborating with Product and Engineering to improve data quality and operational efficiency.
• Engaging with data operations workflows to address data inquiries and requests.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across various departments.
• Mentoring managers/leads and promoting knowledge sharing.
• Managing a global team and fostering a strong culture.

Requirements:

• Significant experience in the financial investment/advisory/fin-tech industry.
• In-depth knowledge of capital markets, trading operations, and middle/back-office operations systems.
• Expertise in data operations and data management.
• Proven experience in using process automation and continuous improvement.
• Strong project management and analytical skills.
• Experience in leading global teams and cross-functional projects.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
