Job Description
Capco is seeking a Senior GenAI Engineer to join their team in Bratislava, Slovakia. This role involves shaping the future of financial services by designing and implementing scalable Python applications focused on GenAI, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs) and vector searching. The ideal candidate will enhance data processing and document search capabilities, employing innovative methods for document chunking and embedding.
Role involves:
- Designing and implementing scalable Python applications for GenAI.
- Employing innovative methods for document chunking and embedding.
- Developing intuitive user interfaces using Angular or React (ideally).
- Maintaining deployment artifacts based on Docker, Terraform, and GitHub Actions (ideally).
- Integrating GenAI technologies into applications.
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand client needs.
- Ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in writing enterprise-grade scalable Python applications.
- 1+ year of experience in developing and deploying client solutions supported by GenAI technologies.
- Expertise in the application of large language models and vector search technologies.
- Experience in applying different architectures and methodologies to extract, chunk, and embed unstructured data.
- Experience in applying various approaches to avoid “false positives” during retrieval process
- Proficiency in frontend development using Angular or React (a plus).
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure management and deployment (Docker, Terraform, Github Actions) (a plus).
- Familiarity with Azure infrastructure (networking resources, monitoring and observability) (a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach to overcoming technical challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
