Job Description

Capco is seeking a Senior GenAI Engineer to join their team in Brno, Czech Republic. This role involves shaping the future of financial services by designing and implementing scalable Python applications focused on GenAI, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs) and vector searching. The ideal candidate will enhance data processing and document search capabilities, employing innovative methods for document chunking and embedding to achieve optimal search performance.

The Senior GenAI Engineer will work within a cross-functional team to integrate GenAI technologies into applications, exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance project outcomes. They will also work closely with stakeholders to understand client needs and project requirements, translating them into technical specifications and innovative solutions. Capco requires adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment, maintaining high standards of quality and security in all development activities.

Role Involves:

• Designing and implementing scalable Python applications focusing on GenAI.
• Employing innovative methods for document chunking and embedding.
• Developing intuitive user interfaces using Angular or React (ideally).
• Maintaining deployment artifacts based on Docker, Terraform, and GitHub Actions (ideally).
• Working within a cross-functional team to integrate GenAI technologies.
• Ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in writing enterprise-grade scalable Python applications.
• 1+ year of experience in developing and deploying client solutions supported by GenAI technologies.
• Expertise in the application of large language models and vector search technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in applying different architectures and methodologies to extract, chunk, and embed unstructured data.
• Demonstrated experience in applying various approaches to avoid “false positives” during retrieval process.
• Proficiency in frontend development using Angular or React (considered a plus).
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure management and deployment (Docker, Terraform, Github Actions) is considered a plus.
• Familiarity with Azure infrastructure (networking resources, monitoring and observability) is considered plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.
