Job Description

The Student Hotel is seeking a Director of Rooms to play a pivotal role in the successful development of their Stay Product and team. This role is crucial in the development and relaunch of the new look of the hotel and the delivery of the TSH hospitality experience. Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Rooms will lead in ensuring premium service and quality for guests staying for any duration.This is a unique opportunity to shape an innovative Stay Product in one of the flagship locations. The Director of Rooms will lead, mentor, and develop the Rooms management team, including the Front Office Manager, Housekeeping Manager, and Maintenance Manager. They will prioritize guest and team experiences, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.What this role involves:

• Leading, mentoring, and developing the Rooms management team.
• Optimizing operational processes across all departments.
• Developing and executing Rooms strategies to enhance guest experience and achieve business objectives.
• Leveraging data analytics to optimize operations and identify new opportunities for growth.
• Ensuring exceptional guest service and satisfaction.
• Developing and managing the Rooms budget.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a Rooms Management role.
• Proven experience leading teams in the Rooms Division.
• Skilled in change management and improving processes in Rooms operations.
• Financially adept, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Digitally savvy, with experience utilizing digital tools.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.
