Director of Supply Chain and Procurement (f/m/d)

Job Description

Spread Group is seeking a Director of Supply Chain and Procurement to lead its global Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Sourcing Teams. This role offers the flexibility to work hybrid at either the Berlin office or Leipzig headquarters. The Director will be responsible for strategic and operational procurement, ensuring continuous product availability and optimizing inventory management. They will also develop the supplier base, build a global external fulfiller network, and manage supply operations processes.

• Holding responsibility for strategic and operational procurement
• Ensuring continuous product availability while optimizing inventory management processes
• Strategically developing the supplier base

• Collaborating with commercial business units
• Supervising and coordinating global shipping operations

• Master of Business Administration degree or equivalent
• 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in management
• Strong ability to plan, source, negotiate, and make decisions
• Strong understanding of procurement processes & ERP system processes
• Advanced knowledge of analytical tools, AI know-how a plus
• Relevant experience in e-commerce, FMCG or similar; print on demand a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English
• Hands-on mentality
