Job Description
Tenstorrent is seeking a Chiplet Physical Design Engineer to join their team and contribute to cutting-edge AI technology. The successful candidate will be involved in designing and integrating multiple chiplets into a System-in-package, collaborating with external stakeholders and Tenstorrent's global experts. This role requires expertise in synthesis and place and route using industry-standard tools for high-speed CPU core design. Knowledge of advanced silicon technology (5nm and lower) and multi-GHz design is highly desirable.
- Synthesis and Place and Route for high-speed CPU core design.
- Performing all aspects of design flow from logic synthesis to design closure.
- Developing and recommending better design methodologies for timing convergence.
- PV convergence (static timing and power analysis).
- Chip physical design verification (formal equivalence, timing, electrical rules, DRC/LVS).
Requirements: - Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in electrical, computer engineering, or computer science.
- At least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with integrated circuit design tools (Synopsys/Cadence).
- Experience with PV convergence and chip physical design verification.
- Hands-on experience with synthesis, block, and chip-level implementation.
- Strong experience in SoC/ASIC/GPU/CPU design flows.
- Expertise in timing closure and ECO flows.
- Experience with scripting (Python, TCL).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
