Job Description

Pismo is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join its Accounts squad in Brazil. This team is responsible for providing high-volume, low-latency data to internal and external customers to support operations. The ideal candidate will ensure system scalability and integrity, apply staff engineering guidelines, and assist other engineers. They will identify potential system flaws, participate in cross-squad implementations, and lead architectural system designs.Role involves:

• Ensuring system scalability and integrity
• Applying staff engineering guidelines
• Assisting other software engineers

• Participating in cross-squad implementations
• Leading architectural system designs

Requirements:

• B2 English proficiency
• Experience with Backend Languages (Java, Golang)
• Cloud knowledge
• Experience with Event-driven architecture and Distributed race condition
• Experience with Observability/metrics (Desirable)
• OpenAPI experience (Desirable)
• Experience with Load Testing (Desirable)
• Terraform and DevOps knowledge (Desirable)
• Experience in the financial market (Desirable)
