Job Description
Remote is seeking an Engineering Team Leader for their Identity & Access Management team. This role is fully remote and focuses on managing team dynamics and optimizing execution. The Engineering Team Leader will manage a small team of engineers, provide technical guidance, and participate in product development.   • Managing a small product team of 3-5 engineers.
  • Participating in product development.
  • Providing technical guidance to the Product Manager.
  • Being involved in hiring and onboarding processes.
  • Managing team dynamics and providing constructive feedback.
  • Providing guidance and coaching to the team.
Requirements:
  • Track record of managing an engineering team of at least 2 people.
  • Senior-level experience in either backend (Elixir/Phoenix) or frontend (JavaScript/TypeScript/React) development.
  • Experience with developing IAM-related features.
  • Commitment to promoting Remote's values.
  • Solid communication skills and knowledge of engineering principles.
  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to inspire others and instill confidence.
