Job Description

Creditas is seeking a Data Engineering Lead to manage data engineering squads focused on analytical, operational, and transactional products. The Data Engineering Lead will ensure quality, performance, and reliability in deliveries, adhering to technical standards and business requirements. This role involves conducting performance management rituals, prioritizing demands with Data Product Owners and stakeholders, and providing technical support to the team.

The Data Engineering Lead will evolve squad processes for operational efficiency and scalability, participate in strategic technical decisions, and foster a collaborative, safe, and high-performance environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading data engineering squads focused on analytical, operational, and transactional products.
• Ensuring deliveries with quality, performance, and reliability.
• Conducting performance management rituals.
• Prioritizing demands with Data Product Owners and stakeholders.
• Supporting the team technically, promoting good engineering practices.
• Evolving squad processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Participating in strategic technical decisions.
• Stimulating a collaborative, safe, and high-performance environment.

Requirements include:

• Proven experience in leading technical data engineering teams.
• Ability to structure and evolve modern data architectures.
• Proficiency in tools and languages such as Python, SQL, Spark, and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of data modeling, security, and governance best practices.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in people management and talent development.
• Availability for hybrid work in São Paulo (1 week per month).
