Global Supply Manager

Job Description

Lucid Motors is seeking a Global Supply Manager to lead construction, indirect, and direct materials sourcing at their manufacturing site in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), Saudi Arabia. The Global Supply Manager will manage supplier relationships, act as the key interface between Engineering, Facilities, Finance, and Manufacturing, and ensure the delivery of world-class products and projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in indirect and direct procurement in the industrial or automotive sector, with hands-on experience managing supplier development, tooling, and commercial negotiations.Role involves:

• Leading procurement for Lucid's construction plans across Saudi Arabia.
• Collaborating with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to identify qualified suppliers and support technical alignment.
• Preparing RFPs, evaluating quotations, and developing sourcing recommendations.
• Negotiating pricing, contract terms, and managing commercial aspects of supplier relationships.
• Managing supplier timelines and performance for construction packages and infrastructure equipment.
• Supporting budgeting and cost control for capital and operational expenditures.
• Managing supplier development and tooling timelines.
• Supporting part readiness and availability for builds.
• Resolving issues identified during part development.
• Negotiating engineering change notice impacts and issuing timely Purchase Orders and Task Orders.
• Maintaining internal reports on sourcing status, supplier risk, availability, and cost.

Requirements:

• 10-15 years of experience in procurement or supply chain.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure development and manufacturing environments.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (SAP Coupa or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
