Job Description
Rocket Lab is seeking a Recovery Engineer I/II to contribute to the Neutron Recovery program. This role involves designing and developing recovery assets, ensuring successful recovery program designs, and supporting hardware development, testing, and flight operations. The Recovery Engineer will collaborate with various engineering teams and serve as a technical expert for marine system designs and post-flight hardware processing.
Responsibilities: - Work within a team to develop the Neutron Recovery program.
- Own critical Recovery Sub System designs and analysis.
- Serve as a technical expert for marine system designs.
- Develop technical details for Recovery designs.
- Collaborate with Rocket Lab Engineering teams.
- Support Recovery system fabrication and testing.
Requirements: - Recovery Engineer I: Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field and past experience in related projects.
- Recovery Engineer II: 2+ years professional experience in Maritime or Aerospace field.
- Experience working with teams of engineers.
- Experience designing and building complex systems.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
