Associate Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

E2open is seeking an Associate Logistics Coordinator to manage the tactical aspects of customer transportation within its Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) portfolio. This role involves ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods from origin to destination, playing a critical role in the customer’s supply chain.Responsibilities include:

• Guiding clients through the entire supply chain process, from planning to delivery.
• Choosing the best transport methods and ensuring timely dispatch.
• Coordinating delivery schedules to optimize service and cost.
• Actively communicating with transport providers to guarantee smooth operations and timely deliveries.
• Handling any changes or delays effectively.
• Overseeing and deciding on additional charges.
• Managing shipment-related expenses and negotiating rates.
• Addressing issues in the delivery process and offering creative solutions.
• Monitoring key performance indicators to improve service continuously.
• Establishing strong, trusting client relationships.
• Maintaining up-to-date information on assigned tasks.
• Providing on-call/after-hours support through a phone rotation system as needed.
• Collaborating in holiday coverage and operational demands.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• 1+ years of customer service and/or supplier management experience is preferred.
• Experience with supply chain software (E2open’s portfolio suite or JDA, SAP, Oracle, Mercury Gate, Pinc, etc.) is preferred.
• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Great interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others.
• High attention to detail.
• Proven problem-solving ability and comfort analyzing large data sets.
• Advanced English is required.
