Ebury, a leading global fintech company, is seeking a Senior Audit Manager - Financial Crime to join their Internal Audit department in Brussels. This role focuses on assessing and recommending improvements to Financial Crime projects and the company's overall approach to managing Financial Crime risk. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to advance to a Senior Manager position.Ebury believes in minimizing boundaries for businesses to prosper internationally. Responsibilities: - Contribute to the Internal Audit risk assessment and Audit Plan.
- Participate in and lead the delivery of all audit phases.
- Perform follow-up/validation of previous recommendations.
- Support the delivery of value-adding audit reports.
- Support the wider Group Internal Audit team.
- Embed the use of data as part of core audit processes.
- Verify controls relating to major systems.
- Support the production of management reporting.
- Capture and document supporting IA materials.
Requirements: - Strong technical knowledge of Financial Crime regulatory requirements.
- Relevant qualification (e.g., ACAMS certification, ICA Diploma in AML, CRCM).
- Financial Crime knowledge/experience gained from the NBB or a financial institution.
- Previous Internal Audit experience gained from an NBB regulated financial services firm is advantageous.
- Proven track record of identifying, assessing, and evaluating risks and controls.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle complexity.
- Comfortable working within a flat organizational structure.
