Job Description
Groupon is seeking a Junior Financial Systems Analyst to join their team in Prague. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of experience in financial systems, accounting, or finance, who is eager to grow and take on new challenges within a dynamic environment. The Junior Financial Systems Analyst will initially handle administrative tasks and gradually take on smaller projects, providing support to NetSuite application users and the accounting teams.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first line of support for NetSuite application users.
- Support the accounting teams during month-end, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
- Identify new system requirements and develop specifications for product enhancements.
- Provide training to ERP system users globally.
- Create ad-hoc reports and queries to assist finance teams and business stakeholders.
- Keep management informed about issues arising from end-users.
- Coordinate with multiple departments to resolve global issues.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in financial systems, accounting, or finance.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience (highly preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with remote employees and contractors in different time zones.
- A positive attitude, strong analytical skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- A proactive mindset with a sense of ownership.
- The ability to quickly learn new processes and system knowledge.
- Experience with Netsuite, Coupa and Snaplogic is an advantage
