Precision for Medicine is seeking an Account Development Manager to join its Translational Sciences group. This role is fully remote and can be based in various European locations. The Account Development Manager will focus on increasing market awareness and generating leads to provide qualified meetings for the Business Development Team. This will be achieved through direct contact with prospective clients via telephone, email, and direct mail. The role also involves developing and implementing strategies to facilitate long-term relationships with new and existing clients. The Account Development Manager will collaborate with the Business Development Leadership Team to establish and implement "inside sales" best practices.
Role involves: - Implementing outreach actions to provide qualified meetings for BD Leads.
- Reviewing and recommending improvements to current account development processes.
- Collaborating with the Business Development Leadership Team for performance review and mentoring.
- Identifying potential clients and contacts using defined "ideal account" profiles.
- Developing and deploying territory and account strategies.
- Initiating the sales process by understanding client requirements and introducing services.
- Supporting conferences through pre-conference outreach and lead follow-up.
- Providing sales activity reports and ensuring all activity is recorded in Salesforce and HubSpot.
- Mentoring and training new members in the Inside Sales team.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a scientific or healthcare discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in the CRO/pharmaceutical/biotech industry with account development and sales experience.
- Experience related to oncology therapeutic area.
- Availability for occasional domestic and international travel.
- Full Professional Proficiency in English.
- Understanding of therapeutics and diagnostics development.
- Active listening and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in proactively anticipating objections.
- Proficiency in using various lead generation methods.
- Ability to resolve problems and prioritize workload.
- High self-motivation and ability to work independently and in a team.
