Notion is seeking a motivated Customer Success Manager to join their team in Tokyo, Japan. This role focuses on providing a first-class experience to business customers, driving product adoption and utilization, and ensuring strong account health.Notion is an in person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for two Anchor Days (Mondays & Thursdays) and requests that employees spend the majority of their week in the office (including a third day).What this role involves:
  • Driving adoption, retention, and expansion for Notion’s product in Japan.
  • Acting as a strategic partner for customers, identifying opportunities and guiding them to success.
  • Supporting the growth of Notion's business in Japan by partnering with the Sales team.
  • Shaping the future product by providing customer insights to the product team.
  • Elevating skills by tackling impactful challenges.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Customer Success or Account Management experience at a fast-growing software company.
  • High adaptability to a rapidly changing business and industry.
  • A growth mindset, viewing setbacks as learning opportunities.
  • Strong intrinsic motivation.
  • Empathy and the ability to see situations from multiple perspectives.
  • Motivation to see others succeed and grow.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for helping customers solve business problems.
  • Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency.
