Job Description
Second Harvest is seeking a Senior Foodraising Manager for British Columbia. This role involves championing the organization's mission to rescue surplus food by building strong partnerships with food businesses in the region. The Senior Foodraising Manager will drive an innovative approach to food rescue, acquiring and retaining a diverse network of food donors, with a focus on high-impact businesses capable of providing substantial volumes of surplus food. Extensive travel across British Columbia and close collaboration with operations and logistics teams are essential for ensuring a seamless flow of rescued food to the non-profit network.
Role involves:
- Identifying and engaging potential food donors.
- Recruiting and re-energizing existing and lapsed donors.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize donation processes.
- Optimizing rescued food delivery using in-house and third-party fleets.
- Monitoring outreach success and gathering donor feedback.
Requirements:
- Entrepreneurial and ambitious mindset.

- Proven success in the food or Agrifood sector.
- Commitment to creating unparalleled donor experiences.
- Resilience and ability to collaborate under pressure.
- Based in the Vancouver Metro area.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Readiness to travel across British Columbia and to other regions of Canada.
