Engineering Manager, Developer Productivity

Job Description

Diligent is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Developer Productivity team in Vancouver. This role involves championing AI-driven tools to enhance developer effectiveness across global teams. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for developing a high-performing team, evaluating and implementing new tools, and serving as a technical evangelist for productivity solutions.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in engineering management in an Agile environment
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle
• Experience partnering with Product or Program Management teams
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and managing engineers
• Familiarity with software development pipelines, DevOps practices, and AI/ML-based tools
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities
• Capable of leading cross-functional initiatives
