Job Description

Pure Storage is seeking a Member of Technical Staff (Storage/Systems) to join their FlashBlade BU in Bangalore. This role offers the opportunity to be a key member of a growing product team focused on building a scale-out all-flash file and object store. The ideal candidate will be passionate about understanding how modern applications work with data and improving their performance.

The candidate will work with distributed systems, algorithms, operating systems, Linux kernel, database internals, hypervisors, containers, and compilers. They will be responsible for driving problem resolution and collaborating with other engineers to develop skills. The role involves designing, collaborating on, and implementing new algorithms and technologies for high-performance, reliable systems.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience.
• Developer-level Linux platform experience.

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and concurrent programming.
• Excellent communication skills.
• BS in Computer Science or related field.
