Job Description
Aspire is seeking a Director of Engineering for Cards, Savings, and Investments. This role involves leading the Engineering cluster, managing architects and engineering managers, and defining the tech vision for card products, savings solutions, and investment offerings. The Director will shape how business customers interact with their funds, build wealth, and manage transactions.

Role Involves:
  • Assessing technology needs and setting short- and long-term technology implementation goals.
  • Defining the technology vision for Cards, Savings, and Investments products.
  • Ensuring scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Leading, managing, and mentoring senior technical staff.

Requirements:
  • Experience in a FinTech Payments Company is a MUST.
  • Degree in Computer Science or relevant technical discipline.
  • 12-15 years of experience with software architecture and design patterns.
  • 3-5 years of People Management experience.
  • Expertise in microservices, multi-stack/platform exposure, database, cloud, DevOps practice, frontend understanding, hands-on with tools for caching, logging, monitoring, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving, change management, and communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge of software development processes such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
  • High levels of empathy.
