Senior Data Scientist in Ad Tech

Teads, now combined with Outbrain Inc., is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their Ad Tech team in Ljubljana. The company operates as the omnichannel outcomes platform for the open internet, driving full-funnel results for marketers across premium media. The new Teads partners directly with more than 10,000 publishers and 20,000 advertisers globally.

As a Senior Data Scientist, he/she will:

• Stay on top of the state-of-the-art science and technology of large scale advertising systems
• Work with teams of data scientists and machine learning engineers to identify investment opportunities
• Help the teams implementing the solutions
• Work with product managers to find data science and AI projects with best cost/benefit risk/reward ratios
• Spend time experimenting with new approaches
• Follow industrial and academic research, occasionally publish at conferences

The ideal candidate should bring to the team:

• Deep experience of the ad tech industry use of AI and data science
• Strong communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience in Statistics and/or Artificial Intelligence
• Ability to read scientific articles, to analyze critically, and to implement as appropriate
• Mindful about application architecture, performance, testing, maintainability, and overall quality
