Job Description
BEAM is seeking a Grants Manager to join their Advancement team. This role involves working closely with the Director of Institutional Giving to cultivate and expand foundation partnerships, aiming to raise over $4 million annually. The Grants Manager will play a crucial role in shaping BEAM's future by securing funding for innovation and stability.Role responsibilities include:
  • Managing a portfolio of grants up to $100,000, including writing and submitting proposals and reports.
  • Preparing financial information for grant proposals and reports in collaboration with the Director of Finance and Administration.
  • Maintaining the grants calendar and a library of grant language and resources.
  • Conducting prospect research to identify and qualify new institutional funders.
  • Maintaining master data records related to grant submissions and tracking in Salesforce.
Requirements for this role include:
  • 3-5 years of fundraising or equivalent professional experience.
  • Knowledge of grant writing and fundraising best practices.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research skills, with proficiency in tools like Candid and Foundation Directory.
  • Ability to analyze data and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
