Job Description
Scale is seeking a Head of Solution Engineering to lead and mentor a team focused on ensuring customer success with Scale's AI technology. This role involves partnering with Account Executives to guide prospective customers through the pre-sales process, delivering customized demos and pilots. The Head of Solution Engineering will also scope customer technical requirements, contribute to proposals, and develop onboarding plans.

Role involves:
- Leading and mentoring a team of Solution Engineers.
- Partnering with AEs to deliver tailored demos and customer pilots.
- Developing technical expertise in Generative AI for Enterprise use cases.
- Being accountable for the customer experience during the pilot phase.
- Interacting with customers to understand their needs and design solutions.
- Designing and maintaining playbooks and demos.
- Working with AEs and PMs to identify customer-specific feature requests.
- Driving strategic initiatives to improve team efficiency.
Requirements:
- Strong engineering background with client-facing experience.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams.
- Experience with Python, Java, or other web development languages.
- Experience in enterprise SaaS, cloud tech, finance, or similar industries.
- Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve technical issues.
- Strong presentation skills and technical credibility.
- Excellent communication skills.
