Director, Legal - Corporate Transactions

AirTrunk is seeking a Director, Legal - Corporate Transactions to join their team in North Sydney. This role involves working with key business teams to manage and deliver treasury, banking, and corporate transactions across the APJ region. The Director will advise on debt corporate structuring solutions and oversee new market entry strategies.Responsibilities include:

• Providing strategic legal advice on banking and corporate transactions.
• Collaborating with teams to architect banking and corporate structuring solutions.
• Identifying and evaluating new market opportunities.
• Overseeing the review, negotiation, and finalization of debt and corporate transaction documentation.
• Overseeing legal due diligence and assisting with post-closing integration.
• Assessing and managing legal and regulatory risks.
• Leading initiatives to enhance awareness, compliance, and improve processes.

Requirements:

• Law degree from an accredited law school and current practicing certificate.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in corporate, mergers & acquisitions, and financing.
• Experience in advising across a wide spectrum of banking and corporate transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to apply sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Excellent influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven track record in people management and leadership.
• Eagerness to learn and develop an in-depth knowledge of AirTrunk's business and operations.
