Job Description
Simtra BioPharma Solutions is seeking a Project Manager, New Business to lead new business opportunities and client transfer activities. The Project Manager will guide projects through process development, validation, and commercialization, ensuring milestones are met according to project specifications while balancing cost, resources, and time. They will manage client and team expectations using project management tools and ensure effective communication. This role reports to the Senior Manager, New Business in Bloomington, Indiana.Responsibilities include:
  • Serving as the primary client contact for all aspects of the product lifecycle.
  • Performing technical evaluations of new project opportunities.
  • Participating in contract negotiations.
  • Supporting client filing and customer relationship management.
  • Ensuring smooth transfer to the commercial team.
  • Managing client forecasting and demand/supply obligations.
  • Leading internal and external project team meetings.
  • Managing project interdependencies and risks.
  • Coordinating scope change control.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a scientific discipline.
  • Minimum of three years of pharmaceutical product development or manufacturing experience.
  • Three years of project management experience, preferably in a service business.
  • Knowledge of project management tools.
  • PMP certification desired.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise software.
