Engineering Manager, Wallets

Job Description

Alchemy is seeking an Engineering Manager for its Wallets team. This role involves leading a team of full-stack engineers to design, develop, and scale user-facing products through Alchemy's Smart Wallets platform. The Engineering Manager will play a key role in making blockchain accessible and user-friendly for millions of end-users and developers globally.

• Driving technical and product strategies for the Wallets product suite.
• Staying updated on technological advancements in wallet technology and UX.
• Enhancing execution, mentoring the engineering team, and refining processes.
• Providing technical mentorship in frontend, backend, and SDK design.
• Recruiting and hiring top-tier engineers.
• Influencing Alchemy's engineering culture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in full-stack software development.
• 2+ years in engineering management.
• Experience with React and its ecosystem.
• Proven track record in SDK design and development.
• Understanding of backend development principles.
• Experience with blockchain technologies (a plus).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
