Team Lead Infrastructure - Networking

Job Description

Adyen is seeking a Team Lead for their Networking team in Amsterdam. Adyen is a financial technology platform that provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution. The Team Lead will be responsible for building, mentoring, and coaching a diverse team to deliver foundational infrastructure services for Adyen's core platform. This role involves streamlining engineering operations, refining product requirements, and encouraging effective collaboration.Role involves:

• Working closely with project managers and vendors.
• Designing, implementing, and optimizing Adyen's networking infrastructure.
• Setting clear team goals aligned with strategic engineering ambitions.
• Taking responsibility for the operation and improvement of the networking team.
• Deploying, scaling, and automating a global network.
• Driving the technical direction of the team.
• Maintaining sources of truth and performance metrics.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing and optimizing global network infrastructure environments.
• Experience in managing IT teams and products.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (EVPN, IS-IS, MPLS, Segment Routing, firewalling).
• Strong knowledge of Linux networking stack.
• Proven experience in coaching, leading, and mentoring engineering talent.
• Ability to lead technical projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with experience working with global teams.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet).
