Job Description
The New York Times is seeking an Associate Manager, Growth Media Strategy to oversee paid digital media strategy for their acquisition program. This role reports to the Manager, Growth Media Strategy and is based in New York, NY. The Enterprise Paid Acquisition team focuses on enterprise subscription growth, optimizing ad spend across various products.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide performance reports and insights for ongoing analysis.
  • Develop POVs and share media expertise.
  • Manage detailed media budgets and allocations.
  • Manage agency relationships and guide campaign execution.
  • Foster strategic vendor relationships.
  • Work with internal and external teams to develop learning agendas and testing scenarios.
  • Develop working partnerships with Creative, Marketing, Newsroom and Social teams.
  • Support journalistic independence and the company's mission.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience managing digital media campaigns.
  • 2+ years of experience in cross-channel media and growth marketing.
  • 2+ years of experience managing social media platforms and display campaigns.
  • Experience using AI-powered automation tools or platforms.
  • Experience in budget and vendor management.
