Senior Analytics Engineer - Product (f/m/d)

Job Description

Contentful is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join their Product Analytics team. This role involves building analytics pipelines that deliver actionable user insights from product adoption data. The engineer will collaborate with product analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to build robust data integrations.Role involves:

• Converting analyst queries into efficient analytics pipelines using dbt.
• Optimizing data for self-service analytics in Tableau.
• Taking ownership of medium-to-large analytics projects.
• Transforming and maintaining scalable product adoption datasets.
• Developing and managing data pipelines for exporting curated datasets.
• Owning end-to-end responsibility for ingesting key productivity data.
• Collaborating to define, manage, and approve event schemas in Segment.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or similar role.
• Expertise in building scalable analytics pipelines using dbt, SQL, and Jinja.
• Skilled at optimizing datasets for querying in data warehouses like AWS Redshift.
• Practical knowledge of reverse ETL tools like Hightouch.
• Adept at working with product event data.
• Confident in cross-functional collaboration.
