Job Description

dmg events is seeking a CAD Executive to manage floorplan creation for energy events in the UAE. The CAD Executive will ensure compliance with venue regulations and H&S guidelines, maximize sales opportunities, and provide layout guidance.

The role involves managing timelines, supporting floorplan elements, and maintaining a systematic approach to version control on SharePoint. The CAD Executive will utilize AutoCAD to manage layers, create templates, and produce layout versions. Onsite measurements and 2D signage designs will also be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage timelines and deadlines for event milestones.
  • Create and maintain floorplans using AutoCAD.
  • Create 2D designs for signage.
  • Attend team meetings and events onsite as required.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in conferences and/or exhibitions.
  • Professional use of AutoCAD.
  • 2D design experience essential, 3D preferable.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel to countries in the MENA region if required.
