Job Description
Glean is seeking a Public Sector Account Executive to drive sales within the UK's Central Government, Local Government, and Public Sector. This role is pivotal in expanding Glean's presence and impact within the public sector.
The Public Sector Account Executive will:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy targeting the UK public sector.
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
- Present Glean's solutions effectively, tailoring presentations to client needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sales initiatives.
- Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Glean’s products and services.
- Analyse sales data and market trends for improvement and growth.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 6+ years of direct closing experience with a focus on the UK Public Sector.
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience selling software at a startup or in a similar fast-paced environment (preferred).
- Proficiency in Command of the Message and MEDDPICC methodology (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with GSI’s and Hyper Scalers (GCP, AWS, Azure) preferred.
