Job Description
xAI is seeking a Construction Supervisor to play a crucial role in bringing their state-of-the-art data center in Memphis to life. This individual will lead the construction project, overseeing every phase to ensure it meets xAI’s standards for quality, efficiency, and innovation. They will manage a dynamic team of contractors and on-site personnel, tackle complex challenges, and drive the project to completion on time and within budget.

Role Involves:
  • Overseeing the planning, design, and execution of construction projects.
  • Managing contractors, subcontractors, and on-site personnel.
  • Tracking daily construction progress and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Developing and maintaining construction schedules.
  • Monitoring project budgets and managing costs.
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders, engineers, and external vendors.
  • Conducting regular site inspections and safety checks.
  • Preparing and presenting progress reports and updates to senior management.
  • Resolving issues that arise during construction.
  • Ensuring the quality and efficiency of construction.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on data centers or large-scale industrial/commercial projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost management, and resource allocation.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, AutoCAD, MS Project).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Experience with construction metrics.
