Prezzee is seeking a Data Management Specialist to help shape the future of data within the company. The Data Management Specialist will play a key role in building the foundations that ensure data is consistent, trusted, and clearly defined across the business. This role involves aligning data definitions and metrics, implementing governance and change management processes, and creating frameworks that support accurate reporting and meaningful analysis.

The Data Management Specialist will empower teams with reliable data and scalable structures, enabling smarter decisions in a fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about turning complexity into clarity and driving data excellence.

What this role involves:

  • Establishing and implementing a data governance framework.
  • Implementing a pragmatic change management process for data definitions.
  • Aligning and documenting definitions of data points and key metrics.
  • Ensuring reporting aligns with governed definitions.
  • Championing cross-functional alignment on metrics and definitions.
  • Leading the development and maintenance of data dictionaries and glossaries.
  • Serving as the point of contact for metric alignment and governance discussions.
  • Fostering a culture of transparency and accountability in data usage.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data governance, data management, or related disciplines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally to define and maintain consistent business metrics.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical data concepts.
  • Proficient in SQL and familiar with dbt, Talend Stitch, AWS Redshift, and Databricks.
  • Experience with BI tools and understanding of business processes.
  • Confident in navigating change and ambiguity in a scale-up environment.
