Job Description
JD Sports is seeking a Payroll Manager for a 6-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of stores autonomously and performing various tasks related to payroll and personnel administration. They will act as the primary point of contact for managers within their area for all matters related to personnel administration and payroll.
- Managing payroll from A to Z, including collecting, calculating, entering, and verifying variable payroll elements.
- Handling employee departures, including final paychecks and exit documents.
- Managing medical examinations for their area.
- Monitoring the annualization of store employees.
- A Bac +2 degree in management or human resources.
- Previous experience in payroll.
- Proficiency in payroll principles and personnel administration.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn internal software.
- Excellent organizational skills, rigor, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills.
